A Memorial Mass will be held for Pamela Sue Becker and Daniel John Becker at 11 a.m., Friday, December 1, 2006 at St. Xavier Catholic Church with Father Al Brungardt officiating. Cremation has taken place. A private family burial will be held at a later date. Respect calls may be made from 1-6 p.m. Thursday, November 30, 2006, at Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel, 203 N. Washington. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. with the rosary recited at 7:30 p.m. at Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested that memorial contributions be given to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Kansas to enable children to attend an auto racing event. Memorials may be left with Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel.

Pamela Sue Becker, 42, of Milford, KS died Thursday, November 23, 2006 as a result of injuries she suffered in an automobile accident on November 21, 2006. Pam was born October 9, 1964 in Ft. Hood, TX to John Schmidt and Barbara Armstrong. As the daughter of an Army officer, she lived in many places before settling in Junction City. Pam graduated from JCHS in 1982 and received an Associates Degree from Cloud County Community College in 2003. She married Jeff Becker on March 28, 1987 and they had two wonderful sons. At the time of her death she was a paraprofessional at Junction City Middle School. Helping children was an important part of her life. Pam was a member of St. Xavier's Church where she previously served on the school board. She enjoyed walking and recently completed the 3-Day 60 mile walk for the Breast Cancer Foundation. She loved to camp at Milford State Park with her family and friends. She was a wonderful friend and loving mother whose family meant everything to her.

Daniel John Becker, 19, of Mooresville, NC died Tuesday, November 21, 2006 in an automobile accident near Greenville, SC. He was born October 14, 1987 in Junction City, KS, the son of Jeff and Pam Becker. Dan was active in sports during school. He graduated from JCHS in May of 2006. He also completed Crew School in Asheboro, NC in August of 2006. At the time of his death, he was employed by Fast Track Racing Team and living his dream. He was the front tire changer of the No. 11 Chevrolet Monte Carlo in the ARCA RE/MAX Series. In his short career, he traveled with the team to numerous racetracks and made friends with everyone he met.
They will be missed but never forgotten.

Survivors include Husband/Best Friend and Father, Jeff Becker; Son and Brother, Justin Becker both of Milford, KS; Step-mother and Grandmother, Alice Schmidt of Arab, AL; Mother and Grandmother, Barbara Armstrong of Indianapolis, IN; In-Laws and Grandparents, Harold and Elaine Becker of Junction City, KS; Grandmother and Great-Grandmother, Ruth Schmidt of Tampa, FL; Sister and Aunt, Deanne Amaro and her husband Colon; Niece and Cousin, Krystina Amaro all of Tampa, FL; Step-brother and Uncle, Stephen Shaw and wife Cathleen; Nephew and Cousin, Max Shaw all of Bradenton, FL; Brother-In-Law and Uncle, Brad Becker and wife Elaine; Nephew and Cousin, Shawn Becker all of Alta Vista, KS; Sister-in-law and Aunt, Judy Lienemann and husband Joe, Nephew and Cousin, Mark Lienemann, Nephew and Cousin, Scott Lienemann all of Atchison, KS, Aunts, Sharon Armstrong, Ovieda, FL; and Garlanda Pierson, Big Spring, TX.

They were preceded in death by Father and Grandfather; John Schmidt
