Dale Spangler

Graveside services for Dale Spangler, 58, of Junction City will be held with full military honors, 10 a.m., Wednesday, September 19, 2007 at Highland Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. with family receiving friends from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. at Penwell-Gabel Mass-Hinitt Chapel, 805 Caroline Avenue. Mr. Spangler passed away at his residence on September 15, 2007.

Mr. Spangler was born September 13, 1949, in York, Pennsylvania, the son of Eugene G. and Edith Baublitz Spangler.

Dale is a U.S. Army Veteran. He worked as a salesman for D.E.L. Motors in Junction City, Kansas. He also helped manage the Farmers Market in Junction City.

He married Myung Won November 27, 1982. She survives.

He is survived by one son, Dale Spangler, Jr. of Phoenix, AZ; three daughters, Tayce Van Zoete and Sheila Lynn Spangler both of Phoenix, AZ and Sharon Lynn Spangler of Kansas City, MO; four brothers; Eugene Spangler, Jr. of Lancaster, PA; Edward Spangler of Dover, PA; Raymond Spangler of Mt. Wolf, PA and Bill Spangler of York, PA; three sisters, Barbara L. Spangler of York, PA; Hellen Barnes of Mt. Wolf, PA and Marie Stough of Manchester, PA and eight grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Robert Spangler.
