Csm (Ret)Jamesb. Boyles

Memorial services for CSM (Ret) James "Jim" B. Boyles, Jr. 59, of Junction City will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 12, 2007 at the Penwell-Gabel Mass-Hinitt Chapel. Inurnment will follow at Fort Riley Cemetery with full military honors. Mr. Boyles passed away June 28, 2007 at Stormont Vail Regional Medical Center, Topeka, KS. Penwell-Gabel Mass-Hinitt Chapel is assisting the family with cremation arrangements.

Mr. Boyles was born February 6, 1948, Logan, OH to James B. and Martha R. (Shively) Boyles. He joined the U S Army July 10, 1967 serving in Vietnam receiving one silver and two bronze stars. He retired from Ft. Riley, KS as a CSM August 1, 1993. He married Kathi Davis April 14, 2006, Junction City, KS, she survives of the home. He was currently employed with Veolia with the City of Junction City for the past 11 years.

He is also survived by two sons; Jeffrey R. Boyles of Kansas, Eldon R. Hand and step-son; Jason Lee Lane of Iola, KS, one daughter, Susan M. Duke of Florida and seven grandchildren.
