Services for C.C. Witt, 85, of Junction City, Kansas will be held at Johnson Funeral Chapel, Friday, May 2, 2003, 10:00 a.m. Rev. J.L. Hagemeister will officiate. C.C. died April 27, 2003 at Geary Community Hospital. Visitation will be Thursday, May 1, 2003, 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Chapel, burial will be at Highland Cemetery, Junction City, Kansas. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Alterra Sterling House, 1022 Caroline Ave., Junction City, KS. C.C. was born March 22, 1918, Geary County, KS to Hugo Edward and Bertha (Lichtenhan) Witt, he married Leota M. Christensen, November 8, 1939, Junction City, KS; she preceded him in death March 25, 2002. C.C. had been a lifelong resident of Junction City, KS and was a farmer. Survivors: Three Sons: Robert C. Witt, Kenneth Witt and Gary Witt all of Junction City,
KS, One Daughter: Janice Darsey of Roberta, GA, Two Sisters: Virginia King of
Chaumont, NY, and Sally Hill of Redding, CA, Nine Grandchildren and Thirteen Great-Grandchildren.Preceded In Death By: Parents; One Brother: Edward Hugo Witt and One Great-Grandchild: Henry.
