Constance (Connie) M. Lowrey, 89, of Junction City, passed away on February 18, 2016. Cremation has taken place. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, February 27, at the Highland Cemetery in Junction City, Kansas, at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Dan Denning officiating. Memorials are suggested to the Friends of Animals.
Connie was born on September 14, 1926, in Junction City, Kansas, daughter to John and Georgie (Brown) Otnes.
She was a lover of the outdoors. Connie took great pride in her yard. She is known for her green thumb. Connie was a member of Wesleyan Church.
On February 8, 1951 she married James Henry Lowrey in Junction City, KS. They resided in Junction City for many years.
Connie is survived by her loving children; Son, Michael Bryan Lowrey of Chapman, KS; Two Daughters, Cynthia Ann Bodine of Herington, KS, Jeannine Ruth Lowrey of Garyville, LA.; 5 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; brothers, Douglas Otnes and Dale Otnes; and sister, Catherine May Otnes.
