Connie JoAnne Lossman, 75, of Milford, KS, transitioned to her heavenly home on June 28, 2016. Cremation has taken place with the assistance of Dove Cremation and Funeral Service of Junction City, KS. A Memorial Service will be held Friday, July 8, 2016, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Dove Cremation and Funeral Service, 805 Caroline Ave. in Junction City, KS.
Family will be greeting guests an hour before the Memorial Service on Friday, July 8, 2016, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Dove Cremation and Funeral Service, 805 Caroline Ave. in Junction City, KS. Inurnment will follow at the Fort Riley Post Cemetery on Fort Riley Kansas.
Memorials are suggested to the Friends of Animals, American Cancer Society, and American Diabetes Association.
Connie was born on June 9, 1941, in Shenandoah, Iowa to David and Dorothy Geer.
During her lifetime, she adopted numerous animals. Each had a special meaning and a place in her heart. She had a strong love of animals especially cats. She enjoyed playing Bingo locally and out of state. She also played cards for her leisure time at Valley View Senior Life Center. For her, family was paramount. She took pride in all her family, especially her grandchildren. She has made a lifetime of fond memories with all her family members. Her memory will be cherished by all, and she will be missed.
Connie is survived by her loving family: her two daughters Dawn Lorraine McElligott of Milford, KS, and Michele Rene and husband Carlo Ramirez of Edmond, OK; two granddaughters Loretta Anne McNeal of Tacoma, WA, and Tamaryn Ramirez of Edmond, OK; two grandsons Patrick Michael McElligott, Jr. of Waterford, MI, and Julian Ramirez of Edmond, OK; two Sisters in Love, Linda Geer of Shenandoah, IA, and Regina Rhyne of Junction City, KS, and a host of loving family.
She was preceded in death by her Husband, Wayne Frederick Lossman, father David Willis Geer, mother Dorothy Nadine Lybarger, and two brothers Ernest David Geer and Gary Edward Geer.
