Clifford E. Garanson

Services for Clifford Ernest Garanson, 99, of Dwight, KS will be held at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 303 Main Street, Alta Vista, KS Wednesday, November 6, 2002, at 2:00 p.m. Reverend Larry Brakenhoff will officiate. Clifford died November 3, 2002 at his residence. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 5, 2002, 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Chapel. Burial will be held at Marion Hill Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 303 Main Street, Alta Vista, Kansas 66834. Clifford was born August 16, 1903, Eastern Geary County to John E. and Bengta Bessie (Johnson) Garanson.
Clifford married Dorothy Richard on December 25, 1948 at Marion Hill Lutheran Church, she survives of the home. Employment & Biography: Clifford worked as a chemist at a Sugar Factory in Garden City,KS in 1927, he also worked as a teacher and principal at Halifax High School for three years, he then worked as a farmer and stockman from 1930 until the time of his retirement. He was a member of the St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Alta Vista. Survivors: One Son; John Garanson of Dwight, KS, One Daughter; Sonja Welch & Gary of Salina, KS, Three Grandchildren; Eric Welch of Manhattan, Emily Welch of Lawrence,
