Funeral services for Cleo Rosetta Marston,86, of Junction City will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, September 8, 2009 at Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel, 203 N. Washington with Reverend Kenton Van officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service time. Burial will follow at Good Hope Cemetery. Mrs. Marston passed away at Geary Community Hospital on September 2, 2009. Memorial contributions may be given to First United Methodist Church, 804 N. Jefferson, Junction City, KS 66441.

Mrs. Marston was born October 24, 1922, Soldier, Kansas to Fred and Cleo (Channel) Frantz. She worked for the Army at Fort Riley, Kansas and the Navy in California during WWII and then the Army National Guard Headquarters in Junction City, KS. She also worked as secretary at Washington Elementary School in Junction City and at Morris Hill Elementary School on Fort Riley

She is survived by one son, Gary Marston of Junction City and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She married Vernon Marston September 28, 1941, he preceded her in death in 1995.

She was also preceded in death her parents, sister, Clara Helen Settgast and brother, Harlan Frantz.
