Clarence E. Zeiger

Services for Clarence Eugene Zeiger, 80, of Junction City, KS will be held at Johnson Funeral Chapel, Saturday, November 2, 2002, at 10:00 a.m. Reverend Dr. Bert Buurman will officiate. Clarence died October 30, 2002 at Geary Community Hospital. Visitation will be Friday, November 1, 2002, 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Chapel. Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery, Junction City, KS. Memorial contributions may be made to The Disabled American Veterans, VA Hospital - Bldg#24 RM 106G, 2200 SW Gage Blvd., Topeka, KS 66622. Clarence was born July 14, 1922, Clinton Twp, Iowa to Otmer and Grace May (Cable) P. Zeiger. He married Pierina J. Vanni, January 8, 1945, Townsville, Australia. Clarence served in the US Army from 1941-1965, he retired as a
SSG, he worked with the Quartermaster-Supply. He worked with Civil Service at Fort Riley, KS from 1965-1974 with the maintenance department. He had been a resident of Junction City, KS since 1961. He was a member of the Methodist faith, American Legion, #207 of Ogden, KS and the DAV Pearl Harbor Chapter. Survivors: Wife; Pierina of Junction City, KS, One Son; Anthony (Tony) Zeiger and wife Diane of Junction City, KS, One Daughter Evelyn Cruce and husband Roger of San Antonio, TX, One Sister; Irene Juhl of Harrison, AR. He was preceded in death By: Parents, One Grandson; Anthony Ray Zeiger, 1989.
