Christine Maree Bishop, 28, of Junction City, KS, passed away on May 26, 2016. Dove Cremation & Funeral Service of Junction City is assisting the family with cremation arrangements. A Celebration of Life service will be held at the Korean United Methodist Church at 1003 N. Franklin St., Junction City, KS 66441 at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday June 4, 2016.
Christine was born on December 3, 1987, in Stuttgart, Germany, to Clifford and Sunja (Hwang) Sitterle. As a young girl, she grew up in Junction City, KS, and attended USD 475 schools. She graduated from Junction City High School and went on to further her education in cosmetology at the B-Street Designs School of Cosmetology in Manhattan, KS.
She earned her cosmetology license and went on to work with her mother, Sunja, at the Sunny's Family Salon.
She was an avid reader of spiritual and philosophical literature. She was also a member of Korean United Methodist Church of Junction City, KS.
Christine is survived by her loving family: her father, Clifford Sitterle of Topeka, KS; her mother Sunja Tolle and husband Gary of Junction City, KS; her two brothers, James Lee Sitterle of Junction City, KS and Daniel Key Sitterle and wife Carolina of Junction City, KS.
