Chong Sun Burklund, 81, of Junction City, Kansas, passed away on December 14, 2016 at Geary Community Hospital.
Memorial Services will be held Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at 11:30 AM at Dove Cremation & Funeral Service, 805 Caroline Avenue, Junction City, Kansas 66441, with Mrs. Yu Chung Seelye officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at 1:00 PM, at Kansas Veterans' Cemetery, 5181 Wildcat Creek Road, Manhattan, Kansas 66503.

Chong was born on April 11, 1935, Chungbuk, Korea to Ja and Ya (Kong) Kim. On February 9, 1965 she married Michiel Burklund in Seoul, Korea.
Chong is survived by her Two Sons, Brad (Reiko) Burklund of Torrance, CA, David (Elizabeth) Burklund of Minneapolis, MN; Sister, Jong Yee of Yorba Linda, CA; Grandchildren, Sara Burklund of Torrance, CA, and Eleanor, Arthur, and Milo Burklund of Minneapolis, MN.
She was preceded in death by her Husband, Michiel Burklund, and Parents, Ja & Ya Kim.
