Charles C. Rhodes, 74, of Junction City, died Mar. 20, 2013 at Stormont-Vail Hospital in Topeka. Charles was born June 30, 1938 in Alameda, Calif., the son of Charles E. & Alice Marie Santos Rhodes. Charles was retired after a 20 year career in the U.S. Army. After retirement he worked part-time at Custer Hill Golf Course at Ft. Riley.
Charles is survived by a daughter, Anh V. Rhodes, Las Vegas, Nevada; 2 sisters, Linda Suesue, Ceres, Calif., and Debbie Danielson, Port Orchard, Washington; and 3 grandsons.
Funeral services will be held at 2p.m.,Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at the Kansas Veterans' Cemetery. Military honors will be provided by the U.S. Army Honor Guard from Ft. Riley, Kansas. Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel, Junction City in charge of arrangements.
