Charles H. Fish, 83, of Junction City passed away at his residence on August 24, 2011. Cremation has taken place with the assistance of Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel. No services are planned. Memorial contributions have been designated to the Friends of Animals, P.O. Box 580, Junction City, KS 66441
Mr. Fish was born August 24, 1928, Fayette, IA to Arthur N. and Cecil G. (Rhines). He served in the U. S. Army during the Korean War from 1951 to 1953. He became a resident of Junction City in 1955 and worked for the State of Kansas as a highway maintenance worker until he retired.
He married Kathleen Joyce Howe March 5, 1951 she survives of the home.
Other survivors include his brothers, Phillip Fish of Oelwein, IA and Robert L. Fish of Phoenix City, AL, sisters, Lillian Atzbach (Al) of Columbus, GA and Annabelle Meyer (Richard) of Phoenix City, AL and Emma Buckmaster of Council Bluffs, IA and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Jess Fish and Chester Fish and one sister, Inez Howe.
