Chuck was born May 26, 1938, in Gray, TN, the son of William "Bill" C. and Winnie (Glover) Ford.

He was respected in his biker community and was willing to help out anyone that needed help. On bike trips, he was always the one with the tools, ready to lend a hand to get a broken rider up and running on the road again.

On January 28th, 1973, he married Norma M. Williams at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Manhattan, KS.
