Chad Allan Fechner, 42, of Junction City, departed this life on July 3rd, 2014, at his home.
A graveside service will be held to celebrate Chad's life at 10:30 am on July 26th, 2014 at the Highland Cemetery in Junction City. Attendees are encouraged to wear their K-State Purple or Camo to honor Chad.
He was born June 4, 1972, to parents Delwyne and Rosemary Fechner, in Wichita, KS.
Chad was an avid fisherman, and enjoyed hunting and being outdoors. He loved to grill and experiment with new recipes. Chad was also an avid K-State fan, and enjoyed any and all types of sports.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Delwyne and Rosemary Fechner.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his Aunt Rita and Uncle Bill Young of Wichita; a Great Uncle, Raymond Nech of Salina; Cousins, Brenda and Bryce Hamilton of Wichita, and Brad and Brenda Young of Benton; Second Cousins, Brandon and Brooke Hamilton of Wichita, Brittney and Aaron Harrell and daughter Ellie of Wichita, and Bethany, Brylee and Bayley Young of Benton.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like to encourage friends and loved ones to make a donation to the Milford Lake Nature Center at 3415 Hatchery Drive, Junction City, KS 66441.
