June 23, 1923 — August 28, 2012
Catherine L. Klusener, 89, Junction City, died Tuesday, August 28, 2012, at Geary Community Hospital. A funeral service will take place 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 15, 2012, at the Penwell-Gabel Johnson Funeral Chapel with Pastor Alan Estby officiating. Burial will follow the service at Highland Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to the organization of the donor's choice.
Catherine was born June 23, 1923, in Hutchinson, Kansas the daughter of Joseph and Cassie Davis. She attended schools in Hays, Kansas. She graduated from the Hutchinson Business College. During World War II, she worked for the Navy Department in Washington D.C. She later worked at Fort Riley until she retired.
She married Walter Hutson. They later divorced. She later married Alvin Klusener. He passed away in 1996.
She is survived by one daughter Marilyn Hutson of Junction City.
