Funeral services for Casey M. Rathbun, 28, of Junction City, KS will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, May 27, 2011 at Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel with Pastor Kenneth Edmiston, officiating. Burial will follow at Skiddy Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday, May 26, 2011 from 6-8 p.m. at Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel, 203 N. Washington Street. Casey passed away at Geary Community Hospital on May 22, 2011. Memorial contributions may be given to American Heart Association, 5375 W. 7th, Topeka, KS 66606 and or the Rathbun Dialysis Center, c/o Geary Community Health Care Foundation, P.O. Box 3015, Junction City, KS 66441.

Casey was born January 12, 1983, Oklahoma City, OK to Stephen and Susan (Mosthaff) Rathbun. He attended Junction City High School.

He is survived by his fiancé Samantha Hurtline of Junction City, his son, Taylor and unborn child due in October, one brother, Steven Rathbun, three sisters; Tracie Rathbun, Ashley Rathbun and Kara Marlowe all of Junction City, KS, four nieces; Gina, Autumn, McKinzie and Kinlea and two nephews; Austin and Kevin, two aunts; Kay Lynn Gatza and Gerri Mottas, two uncles; Brian Mosthaff and Artie Mosthaff.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Lezlie Rathbun and his grandparents; John and Beulah Schippert and Martin and Helen Mosthaff.
