Graveside services for Carrie J. Stanek, 94, of Junction City, KS Formerly of Ft. Dodge,IA will be Thursday, January 23, 2003, at 10:00 a.m. Father Al Brungardt of St. Xavier Catholic Church will officiate. Carrie died January 20, 2003 St. Francis Hospital, Topeka, KS No visitation is planned. Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery, Junction City, Kansas. Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1315 SW Arrowhead Road, Topeka, KS 66604 and/or Campus Crusade for Christ,100 Lake Hart Drive, Dept. #2400, Orlando, FL 32832, Attn: Living Memorials. Carrie was born January 8, 1909, Lyra, Texas to John and Mary Mesicek. She Married to Theodore T. Stanek on Sept. 11, 1929 in Fort Dodge, Iowa, he preceded her in death in April 1991. She was a homemaker and a member of the Catholic faith. Survivors: Daughter: Jo Sullivan, Junction City, Kansas; Brother: Hubert Mesicek, Humboldt, Iowa. Three Grandchildren and Eight Great-Grandchildren. Preceded In Death By: Parents, Husband, Two Sisters: Annie Jondle and Josephine Mesicek.
