Carmen J. Lopez-Pagan, 72, of Junction City, KS, passed away on November 12, 2019. The family will have a private service at a later date. Johnson Funeral Home is assisting the family with cremation arrangements.
She was born on May 9, 1947, in Utuado, Puerto Rico to Julio and Margarita (Pagan-Natal) Lopez. As a young girl she grew up in Puerto Rico. She moved to the mainland and gave birth to two daughters. She ultimately settled in Junction City, Kansas, where she was loved by many friends.
Carmen was a member of the Primera Iglesia Latina Eben-ezer of Junction City. She had many interest. She loved to cook for her friends and family and spend time with those she loved. Above all she dedicated to those she considered family. Carmen was a loving mother, adoring grandmother, and loyal friend.
Carmen is survived by her loving family: her two daughters, Janet Chavez of Junction City, KS, formerly of Miami ,FL, and Mary Rodriguez of Cape Coral, FL; her grandchildren; her great grand children; her siblings; and a host of loving family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her son Wilfredo Rodriguez-Lopez, and some of her siblings.
