December 28, 1924 — June 4, 2013

Carl Raymond White, 88, Junction City, KS passed away Tuesday, June 4, 2013, at his home in Junction City. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Cremated remains will be buried at Highland Cemetery in Junction City. Memorial contributions may be given to the Hospice at Geary Community Hospital c/o Geary Community Healthcare Foundation, P.O. Box 3015, Junction City, KS. 66441.

Carl was born December 28, 1924, in Seattle, WA the son of Raymond Max and Olga Caroline Hoagland White. He has resided in Junction City since 1944.

Carl served in the United States Army during World War II. He was a farmer for many years. He also worked as a mechanic for twenty years having worked for JC Motors and Crocker Motors. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church.

He married Joan Langvardt on July 7, 1946. She passed away in 1987. He later married Marion Frazier on April 4, 1988. She passed away in 2003.

Survivors include two daughters, Marsha (Gary) Derringer of Owenton, KY and Lori (Doug) Cook of Abilene, KS and one step daughter, Brenda Walden of Shelbyville, IL. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one step son Brad Frazier.

The family would like to give special recognition to Jamee Edmondson of Home Health Care and Geary Community Hospital and hospice. They would also like to thank Dr. Thomas Craig and At Home Assisted Care of Manhattan for their support.
