Carl died July 15, 2002 at Geary Community Hospital.Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 17, 2002, 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Johnson Funeral
Chapel. Burial will be held at Fort Riley Cemetery, Fort Riley, Kansas with full military honors. He married Nancy (Ascher) Asche July 3, 1993 in Junction City, KS,
she survives of the home. Employment & Biography: Carl joined the Navy in 1946, serving 20 years, retiring as an E-6, July 10, 1967. He then worked for the state of California as a cook for the Norco Correctional Facility retiring in 1988, he moved to Junction City November of 1988. He attended the First Christian Church, served as President of the Eagles #830 and was a member of the American Legion, he was an avid fisherman. Survivors; One Son; Tony Orona of Junction City, KS, Seven Stepsons, Two Stepdaughters,One Brother; Eldon Asche of Kanawha, IA, Three Sisters; Marie Davis of Santa Rosa, CA,Ruth Harrison of Junction City, KS and Esther Likey of Grand Junction, CO and
numerous grandchildren. Preceded In Death By: Parents, One Brother; Weert Asche and First Wife; Jessie Orona Asche. Casket bearers: Fort Riley Honor Guard
