Brian (JP Jr.) Michael Potter, 31, of Junction City, passed away October 23, 2003 at Salina Regional Medical Center of Septic Shock following surgery. A memorial gathering will be held at Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel on Saturday, October 25, 2003, 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to The Potter Family, 717 W. 9th, Junction City, KS 66441. Cremation will take place following the gathering.
Brian was born December 1, 1971 to James Potter and Kathleen (Lambing) Luffey Fort Riley, KS. He lived in Junction City all his life with the exception of three years when he lived in the St. Louis, MO area. He married Amy Bennett January 19, 2000 in Junction City.
He is survived by wife; Amy of Junction City, three sons; Dillon,11, Travis,7, and Aaron, 4, two daughters; Alyssa, 9, and Briana, 3, parents; James and Cheryl Potter, Kathy and Tom Luffey, two brothers; Troy Geike and Keith Potter, two sisters; Brenda and Jimmy Breese and Donita and Felix Oliveras, several nephews, nieces and many friends.
