Brian S. Johnston, 59, of Junction City, Kansas passed away on October 4, 2024, at Good Shepherd Hospice House. Cremation has taken place and a family led celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Brian was born on October 16, 1964. He grew up on his grandparent's farm raising both cattle and crops.
He spent his life with his soul-mate, Barbara Van Erstvelde and lived in Geary County for over 20 years.
Brian had many careers over the years, the most recent was working on plumbing out of Junction City. He was a handyman throughout most of his life and helped many people because of his skills.
Brian is survived by his loving mother, Sheryl Bennett; one brother Dennis Allen; his aunt and uncle, Kenneth and Roxie Johnston; two cousins, Melisa Burgess and Shelli Cammisa and a his two best friends, Ed Lazear and Dianna.
He was preceded by his grandparents, Floyd and Sarah Johnston and his soul-mate, Barbara.
