Graveside services for Brent A. Junghans, 40, of Junction City will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, May 21, 2011 at St. Mary's Cemetery with Father Al Brungardt officiating. No visitation is planned and cremation has taken place with the assistance of Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel. Brent passed away at his home on May 16, 2011. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that memorials be given to Friends of Animals, P.O. Box 580, Junction City, KS 66441.
Brent was born July 3, 1970, Junction City, KS to David and Marie P. (Jampo) Junghans. He was a lifetime resident of Junction City and had worked in construction for many years. He had a love for music and animals and was a huge fan of University of Oklahoma football. He will be greatly missed by his sister and his friends.
He is survived by his sister Debbie Junghans-Johns and husband Randy of Junction City and his former wife Lisa Junghans.
He was preceded in death by his parents David and Marie Junghans.
