Brenda Kay Griffin

Funeral services for Brenda Kay Griffin, 52,will be 1 p.m., Wednesday, April 8, 2009 at Second Missionary Baptist Church with Dr. Leonard Gray officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery. Brenda passed away March 29, 2009 in Goldsboro, NC. Visitation will be from 6-8pm Tuesday, April 7, 2009 at Penwell-Gabel Mass-Hinitt Chapel, 805 Caroline Avenue.

Brenda was born December 7, 1956 to the late Toyling Howell and Carl Jones. Brenda received her GED in 1983 and also attended St. Mary's College. She leaves to cherish her loving memory;

Rae Ann Boyd, three children: Sekia (Bobby Royall of Dudley, NC; DeAndre (Patience) Griffin of Manhattan, KS and DeMarco (Ive) Griffin of Junction City, KS; three sisters, Carlee Griffin of Shawnee, KS, Mary Holland of Killeen, TX, and Shelia Mosley of Oakland, CA; one brother, Rico Webb of Aurora, CO; Nine nieces and nephews, Virok, Jermaine, Marcellas, Valencia, Felicia, Sherrita, Shavonne, Gloria and Kaylena; Ten grandchildren, Mikil, Shaparis, Andre, DeAndre, Keyana, Imani, Heaven, Promsie, Mya and Andrew. Three aunts, two uncles, and a host of relatives from the Smith family and other cousins and friends.
