Boyd Raplee, 88 of Junction City, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 5, 2003 at the Geary Community Hospital in Junction City. Cremation is planned with no services.
He was born Sept. 2, 1915 in Tescott, the son of Albert and Alida Clinton Raplee.
He married Mary Franklin on Aug. 1, 1942 in Lancaster, SC, she preceded him in death on Dec. 14, 2000.
He graduated from Salina High School in 1933. He moved to Junction City in 1944. He farmed until 1961 and then was an electrician until retiring in the early 1970's. He also served in the U.S. Army during WWII.
Survivors include two sons, Charlie Raplee of Topeka and Al Raplee of Wildwood, MO. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and brother, Dale Raplee.
