Bonny Lee Viar, 58, of Salina, passed away on Monday, April 6, 2015, at the Salina Regional Health Center surrounded by her family. A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, April 16, 2015, at the Highland Cemetery with Carol Viar officiating. A visitation will be held from 9 - 11 a.m. prior to the service at the Penwell-Gabel Mass-Hinitt Chapel 805 Caroline Ave. in Junction City prior to the graveside service. In lieu of flowers, memorials donations are suggested to be given to the family.
Bonny was born April 30, 1956, in Drew, MS, the daughter of Willie Pleas and Mae Alice Moore.
Bonny enjoyed visiting daily with her children and mother. She enjoyed playing with her grandchildren, sewing, watching western and action movies.
She married Lance Viar on April 22, 2011 in Salina, KS. He survives of the home in Salina.
Other survivors include one son, Vincent Moore (Marisol Narvaez) of Manhattan, KS, two daughters, Vennessa Pleas (Christopher Reed) of Junction City, KS and Victoria (Keith) Reese of Andover, KS. She is also survived by five brothers, Willie Moore and Samuel Pleas both of Junction City, KS, Louis Moore of Irving, TX, James Pleas of Topeka, KS and Jimmy Moore of MO. She is survived by two sisters, Edna Pleas of Riverside, CA and Hattie Whitfield of Sikeston, MO. She is survived by ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
