Bobby G. Beatty, 34, of Junction City, died Sunday, March 16, 2014 at Geary Community Hospital as a result of a motorcycle accident. Bobby was born November 19, 1979 in Kansas City, Kansas, the son of Joseph and Pamela Weaver Beatty. He was a 1997 graduate of DeSoto High School at DeSoto, Kansas. Bobby was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #830 and the Eagles Riders, both of Junction City. Bobby was the Service Center Manager at Sapp Bros Truck Center in Junction City.
He is survived by his son, Bobby Beatty, II.; a step-daughter, Irish Farrow, both of Omaha, Arkansas; his father, Joseph Beatty and his wife Vickie Jo Downey, Junction City; his mother, Pamela Robinson, De Soto; a sister, Brandy Danner, Sedalia, Mo.; his maternal grandmother, Virginia L. Beatty, Junction City; his paternal grandmother, Betty Weaver, Gardner. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Samuel Beatty, and his maternal grandfather, Glen Weaver.
Cremation has taken place.
A Dinner/Celebration of Life will be held at 6:00 p.m., Friday, Mar. 21, 2014 at the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #830, 203 E. 10th, Junction City, Ks.
