Beverly Jean Robinson, 77, Junction City passed away at her home on December 8, 2012. A Memorial Mass will be held at 10 a.m.,on Saturday, December 15, 2012 at St. Xavier Catholic Church with Father Al Brungardt officiating. Inurnment will follow the service at St. Mary's Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel, 203 N. Washington Street on Friday, December 14, 2012 from 6p.m. to 8 p.m. with a vigil service at 7:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions have been designated in Beverly's name to St. Xavier Catholic Church, P.O. Box 399, Junction City, Kansas 66441.
Beverly was born December 29, 1934, Boise, Idaho to Benjamin J. and Fay (Graham) Beberness. She enlisted in the U. S. Army and met her future husband Leland Laverne Robinson at Ft. Benning, GA. They were married in the Post Chapel there on November 5, 1953 and have lived in Junction City for 39 years.
She is survived by her husband CSM (Ret) Leland Robinson of the home and children Kathy Roesler and husband Harold of Rose Hill, KS, Steven Robinson and wife Roberta of Olathe, KS, Karen Rogers and husband David of Fredonia, KS, Scott Robinson and wife Paige of Lawrence, KS and Randy Robinson and wife Marina of Edmond, OK. Other survivors are her brother Ben Beberness of Idaho and eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Chuck Beberness and her son Michael Robinson.
