Beverly Bohn

August 27, 1956 — March 20, 2016

Beverly A. Bohn, 59, of Dwight, KS, entered new life in heaven on Sunday, March 20, 2016 surrounded by her family. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 24, 2016, at the First Presbyterian Church in Junction City. The visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. Wednesday evening at the church. Burial will follow the funeral service at Upper Humboldt Creek Cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested to be given to the First Presbyterian Church of Junction City or to the Geary County 4-H Foundation.

Bev was born August 27, 1956, in Council Grove, KS, the daughter of Charles and Anna Mae (Massey) Robidou. She married Vernon Bohn on February 28, 1976, in Alma, Kansas. The couple was blessed with three daughters.

Bev graduated from Council Grove High School with the class of 1974. After graduating from high school, she started working for United Telephone Company in Junction City. Bev was a loving wife and mother. She enjoyed many years as a stay-at-home mother raising her daughters. Later, she went to work for USD 475 following her girls through school. In 2012, Bev began working for Kansas State University, most recently as an administrative assistant in the Counseling Services Department. Bev was very involved with the Humboldt Creek 4-H Club. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Junction City where she served as a deacon and was a member of P.E.O Sisterhood and the Farm Bureau Board. Over the years, she served her community with many activities. Bev enjoyed flower gardening, reading, camping, and time with her daughters and grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband Vernon, three daughters, Nicole Block and husband Adam of Wamego, KS; Ashley Schroeder and husband Ian of rural Geary County and Bailey Bohn of rural Geary County. She is survived by her parents, Charles and Anna Mae Robidou of Dwight, KS; one sister, Rita Peters of Council Grove, KS and one brother, Chris Robidou of Dwight, KS. She is survived by two grandchildren, Carter and Cayley Block. She is also survived by her father-in-law Charles Bohn of Wamego, KS and many nieces, nephews and family members.
