Betty Jean Rausch

Betty Jean Rausch, 90, of Junction City, KS passed away April 14, 2018 at the Leonardville Nursing Home. Cremation has taken place. A visitation will be held on Friday, April, 20, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home, 203 N. Washington Street. Inurnment will take place at St. Mary's Cemetery. Memorial Contributions have been designated to the Alzheimer's Association and sent in care of Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home.

Betty was born September 8, 1927, Riley County, KS to Donald and Betsy (Laird) Warner. Betty worked as a cook for USD 475 at the Junction City Middle School, but for most of her life she was a homemaker.

She married Ewald "Jock" Rausch November 4, 1947, he preceded her in death November 16, 2008.

Betty is survived by five daughters, Della Courtney of Kaplan, LA, Pamela Moretti of Junction City, KS, Donna Jones of NC, Susan (Darryl) Schindler of Junction City, KS, Tina (David) Thompson of Lakeport, CA; three sons, Tim (Krista) Rausch of NC, Patrick (Ela Heart) Rausch of Seattle, WA and Guy (Astric) Rausch of Junction City, KS; Twenty Seven Grandchildren and Twenty Seven Great-Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Bobbie Jo Rausch, two brothers, Wayne Warner and Roy Warner and one sister, Emma Warren and her son-in-laws, Ron Moretti, Sr. and Ed Jones.
