A Memorial service for Betty J. Stacy, 64, will be 2 p.m., Monday, September 15, 2008 at Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel, 203 N. Washington. Cremation will follow the services. Mrs. Stacy passed away on September 9, 2008 at Geary Community Hospital.
Mrs. Stacy was born February 16, 1944, Dover, OH to William and Florence A. (Hansen) Wendling. She was a homemaker and loved to work with arts and crafts and enjoyed making Christmas ornaments for her family and friends.
She is survived by her mother; Florence Grindstaff of Leicester, NC husband Richard F. Stacy of Junction City, KS, one son; Melvin Croston and his wife Donna of Hazlehurst, GA, two daughters; Anita Wilson and husband Herman of Junction City, KS and Florence Croston of Junction City, KS, one sister; Veronica Keever of Leicester, NC, five grandchildren; Mitch Croston, Brock Croston, Richard Wilson, Jonathan Martin and Tyler Croston, two great-grandchildren; Kaitlyn Wilson-Glacken and Levi Wilson-Glacken.
She was preceded in death by her father and one brother; Edward Wendling.
