Bessie B. Atwell

Entombment for Bessie Beatrice Atwell, 88, Junction City, Kansas will take place at the Memorial Gardens Mausoleum in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Bessie passed away early Friday morning at the Valley View Professional Care Center in Junction City, Kansas. Memorial contributions may be given to the First Church of the Nazarene in Junction City.

Bessie was born December 5, 1917, in Alliance, Nebraska the daughter of Ernest M. and Clara Jane (Brown) Lammon.

Bessie was a homemaker. She attended the First Church of the Nazarene in Junction City.

She married Lesslie William Atwell on September 25, 1941, in Goodland, Kansas. He passed away January 4, 1983, in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

She is survived by her two daughters Rose Rothfuss and Colleen Woodruff both of Junction City. She is also survived by two sisters, Luella Petri of Aurora, Colorado and Marjorie Hunsley of Meade, Kansas. She is survived by 4 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister and three brothers.
