Bernice Williams, 91, of Junction City, died Jan. 6, 2016 at Geary Community Hospital. Bernice was born Mar. 25, 1924 in Oklahoma, the daughter of Jeff & Alice Martin.
Bernice attended all her schooling in Oklahoma, and graduated from high school in Oklahoma.
Bernice worked in Junction City as a housekeeper. Bernice was a member of Ward AME Chapel in Junction City.
Survivors include: a son, Stanley Reese and his wife Patricia, Oklahoma City, OK; a daughter, Janice Manuel, Drumright, OK; 6 granddaughters, Kimberly Reese, Christine Bailey and husband Clarence, all of Junction City, Crystal Reese and Terrie Williams, Cushing, OK, Angelica Reese-Overstreet and her husband Charles, Stillwater, OK, and Camara Weatherman, Enid, OK; and 2 grandsons, Sidney Reese and his wife Brenda, Stillwater, OK, and Jeffrey Jones, Cushing, OK. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be at a later date in Oklahoma.
Penwell-Gabel Johnson Funeral Chapel assisted the family with local arrangements.
