Funeral services for Bernice Pangrac, 99, formerly of Junction City, KS will be 11 a.m., Monday, January 22, 2007 at the First United Methodist Church with Pastor Paul Wolf officiating. Burial will be held at 2:30 p.m. at Greenville Cemetery north of Niles, KS. No visitation is planned. Mrs. Pangrac passed away at the Fairways of Augusta Nursing Home on January 16, 2007. Memorial contributions may be given to the First United Methodist Church, 804 N. Jefferson, Junction City, KS 66441.
Mrs. Pangrac was born September 4, 1907 Centerville, IA to William O. and Flora E. (Main) Hiatt. Over the years she worked as a Medical Receptionist, Secretary to Superintendent of Schools for USD 475, she was the Geary County Auto Clerk (a division of the Geary County Treasurer's Office) and as a homemaker. She was a longtime member of the First United Methodist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star.
She married Perry W. Pangrac August 11, 1929 he preceded her in death on December 19, 1989
She is survived by one son, Duane Pangrac of Augusta, KS, one daughter, Mrs. Roberta Kelly of Junction City, KS, six grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Pallbearers will be Layne Pangrac, Joel Pangrac, Matthew Kelly, David Kelly, Chris Kelly and Lale Capps.
