Bernarda Marrero, 73, of Junction City, died Jan. 18, 2015 at Mercy Regional Health Center in Manhattan. She was born Feb. 11, 1941 in the Vieques, Puerto Rico.
She and her husband, Carlos Marrero moved to Junction City 6 years ago. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband Carlos, of the home; 2 sons, Jose M. Rivera, Brooklyn, N.Y., and Pablo Marrero, Florida; 3 daughters, Mildred Martinez, Springfield, Mass., Milagros Santiago and husband Ricardo, Junction City, and Cristina Dickens and husband Jimmy, Kennesaw, GA; a sister, Gladys Barbosa and husband Nano, Brooklyn, N.Y.; 18 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren; and many other family members and friends, to numerous to mention.
Cremation has taken place, and no services are scheduled.
Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel in charge of arrangements.
