Barbara E. "Bobbie" Hubbard, 75, of Junction City, died Saturday, September 30, 2017 at Valley View Senior LIfe. Bobbie was born in Junction City February 3, 1942, the daughter of Emmett and Gladys (Talley) Hubbard. Bobbie was disabled all of her life, and had been a resident of Valley View Senior Life since 1995.
Bobbie never knew a stranger, and was loved by everyone who knew her.
Bobbie is survived by her sister, Geraldine Norris and her husband, Richard, Hope Mills, North Carolina; and 2 nephews, Richard Norris and his wife Cindy , Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Chuck Norris, Georgia; and an cousin, Kenneth Talley, Junction City. Bobbie was preceded in death by her parents and 2 uncles, Lawrence and George Talley.
Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m., Thursday, October 5, 2017 at Highland Cemetery, with Pastor Adam Langston presiding. The family will greet friends on Wednesday evening, Oct. 4, 2017, 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at the Penwell-Gabel Junction City Funeral Chapel, 203 N. Washington, Junction City, KS.
Memorial contributions may be made in Bobbie's name to the Shriners Hospital for Children-St. Louis, 4400 Clayton Ave., St. Louis, Missouri, 63110.
