Barbara Kay Hill, 82, Junction City, Kansas died on Thursday, December 5, 2024 at Enterprise Estates Nursing Center in Enterprise, Kansas.
A graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, December 12, 2024, at the Kansas Veterans' Cemetery with Chaplain Linda Lewis officiating.
Barbara was born January 13, 1942, in Junction City, Kansas the daughter of Charles and Alice Katherine (Rutledge) Cleveland.
Barbara attended all of her schooling in Junction City, Kansas. She graduated from Junction City High School with the class of 1960. After high school, she worked for the Smith-Waddle Drug Store. She held various retail sales jobs in Junction City to include Keintz I.G.A, Rexall Drug Store and Walmart.
In 1961, she joined the Order of the Eastern Star. In 1966, she joined the Rebekah Lodge. In 1994, she was the Past Matron of the Rebekah Lodge. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Junction City, Kansas where she served as a deacon.
In January of 1962, she married Jerry E. West. They were later divorced. On August 6, 1972, she married Clyde Hill. He died March 28, 2024.
Survivors include one daughter, Kelly Pierce (Billy) of Houston, Texas; two sons, David Linn West of White City, Kansas and Daniel M. Hill of Cut and Shoot, Texas; four grandchildren, Christopher Graham (Heather) Cypress, Texas, Angela Graham of Houston, Texas, Hannah Hill and Spencer Hill both of Mason City, Iowa; six great-grandchildren, Nikolas Rodriguez, Noel Rodriguez, Emily Rodriguez, Ayden Rodriguez, Summer Graham and Christopher P. Graham; one daughter-in-law, Shelby Hill of Mason City, Iowa. four sister-in-laws, Joyce Jackson of Wisconsin, Clarice Kieselberg of Florida, Helen Hill of Illinois and Carol Dupes of Illinois. Many nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands and one son, Kevin Keith Hill.
