Barbara Forrest, 62, of Junction City, Kansas passed away on Thursday, June 1, 2023 at Select Specialty Hospital in Kansas City, Kansas. A celebration of life service will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday, June 19, 2023 at Faith Tabernacle Apostolic Church. A visitation will be held 5-7 p.m. Monday, June 19, 2023 at Johnson Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at Highland Cemetery.
Barbara was born July 8, 1960, in Knoxville, Tennessee, the daughter of Herman and Reba (Stevens) Drew.
Barbara enjoyed sewing and was a fine seamstress. She was a forty year plus member of Faith Tabernacle Apostolic Church in Junction City, Kansas.
Survivors include her husband John H. Forrest of Junction City, Kansas; her mother, Reba Drew of Tennessee; one son, Christopher Hill of Junction City, Kansas; two daughters, Chrischella Claude (John) and Char Hill both of Junction City, Kansas; fifteen grandchildren; two brothers, Herman Drew and Larry Drew; one sister, Janis Keith.
She was preceded in death by her father Herman Drew, two brothers, Steven and William Drew.
