Barbara A. Booth, 69, of Manhattan, KS passed away on November 6, 2017 at Good Shepherd Hospice House. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at the Church of Christ, 2510 Dickens Ave., Manhattan, KS on November 12, 2017 at 1:30 PM. A private family increment will take place at a later date at Kansas Veterans' Cemetery. Memorials are suggested in lieu of flowers to the Good Shepherd Hospice House, 3801 Vanesta Dr., Manhattan, KS 66503, in Barbara Booth's name.

Barbara was born on January 15, 1948, in Wichita, KS to Glen and Luvena Rasler. Barbara moved to Arab, AL. her junior year, where her father was a part of the Saturn Missile Program for NASA. After graduation Barbara returned to Wichita, KS to attend Friends University of Central Kansa studying Nursing, where she met the love of her life Gary Booth.

On June 7, 1969 she married Gary Booth. Following Gary's military career, Barbara did three tours in Germany until they established their home in Manhattan, KS.

Barbara was a receptionist for many years with Clark & Kellstrom Law Firm, and later worked as a receptionist for Big Lakes Developmental Center. Church was her life and she did many volunteer services for the Church of Christ.

Barbara is survived by her husband, Gary of Manhattan, KS; her two sons, Russty (Nikki) Booth of Manhattan, KS and Chris (GG) Booth of Junction City, KS; sister Beverly (Tommy) Taylor of Arab, AZ; and one grandchild, Taylor Booth.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Gene Rasler and Gary Rasler and one sister, Glenda Lue Rasler.

Dove Cremation & Funeral Service of Junction City, KS is assisting the family with arrangements
