Memorial services for Arleen G. Robin, 82, of Junction City, KS will be Friday, September 16, 2005, 10 a.m. at the Immanuel Lutheran Church, Pastor Rick Marrs will officiate. No visitation is planned. Inurnment will be at Highland Cemetery. Mrs. Robin passed away Sept. 11, 2005 at Geary Community Hospital. Memorial contributions may be given to the Immanuel Lutheran Church, 630 S. Eisenhower, Junction City, KS 66441. Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel, 203 N. Washington is assisting the family with cremation arrangements.
Mrs. Robin was born June 29, 1923, Wallace, SD to B.J. and Anna (Iverson) Hogstad. She married James Edward Thiel in 1945, they divorced in 1973. She later re-married Allen J. Robin October 21, 1978, Junction City, KS, he survives of the home. She was a resident of the area for 18 years.
Mrs. Robin owned and operated Thiels Trailer Court, The Wagon Wheel and KT Oil all located in Grandview Plaza. Mrs. Robin was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church for many years.
Other survivors include, three sons, James Thiel of Denver, CO, Steve Thiel of Aurora, CO and Gary Thiel of Littleton, CO, one daughter, Dawn Jensen of Parker, CO, two step-daughters, Patricia A. Stowell of Denver, CO and Barbara A . Schultz of LaPorte, IN, one brother, Ardell Hogstad of Osseo, WI, one grandson and six step-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Frances Johann
