Arfie Condray

A graveside service will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 18, 2007, at the Milford Cemetery for Arfie Ellen Condray, 97, Milford, Kansas. Mrs. Condray passed away Friday, April 13, 2007, at the Geary Community Hospital. A visitation will be held from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 17, 2007, at the Penwell-Gabel Johnson Funeral Chapel. Memorial contributions may be given to the Milford Congregational Church 101 Barry Street Milford, Kansas 66514.



Arfie was born May 31, 1909, in Milford, Kansas, the daughter of Charley H. and Lydia Ellen (Roether) Condray. She has resided in the Milford area her entire life.



Arfie worked for Dr. John R. Brinkley for 14 years. She later worked for the Milford Sanitarium until her retirement. She was a member of the Milford Congregational Church and the Milford Museum.



Survivors include one niece, Chyree Brummitt of San Antonio, Texas.



She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Eva M. and Esther C. Condray and one brother Willard Condray.
