Graveside services for Arch Dean McDonald,62,of Junction City, KS(Formerly of Spartanburg, S.C.) will be Wednesday,July 17, 2002, 11:00 a.m. at Fort Riley Cemetery, Chaplain Rongey will officiate. Arch died July 13, 2002, St. Francis Hospital, Topeka, Kansas. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 16, 2002, 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Chapel, burial will be at Fort Riley Cemetery, Fort Riley, Kansas with Full Military Honors. No memorial has been designated. Arch was born September 20, 1939, at Murphy, North Carolina to John and Annie R. (Radford) McDonald Marriage Date & Place: Arch married Dora (Sausner) April 30, 1983 at Junction City, KS,she survives of the home. Arch was in the United States Army for 20 years and in the Reserves for two years. He retired as an E-7, he was a member of the VFW in South Carolina. Survivors: Mother: Annie R. McDonald of Rockhill, S.C.; Three Sons: Jeff McDonald of
Columbia, S.C., Michael McDonald of Junction City, KS, and Robert Jiminez of Junction City, KS; Three Daughters: Nancy Williams of Columbia, S.C., Elizabeth Byrer of Palmdale, CA, and Patricia Barshaw of Junction City, KS, One Brother: Bill McDonald of Virginia; Two Sisters: Margaret Ross and Gale Morgan both of Rockhill, S.C.; and 11Grandchildren.Preceded In Death By: Father. Casketbearers: Fort Riley Honor Guard Honorary Casket bearers: Michael McDonald, Jeff McDonald, Bill McDonald, Robert Jiminez, Chuck Deece, and
Ed Bean.
