Anneliese Bennett

Funeral services for Anneliese C. Bennett, 77, of Junction City will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, June 2, 2008 at Penwell-Gabel Johnson Funeral Chapel 203 N. Washington Street with Father Al Brungardt officiating. Burial will follow the service at St. Mary's Cemetery. Mrs. Bennett passed away Sunday, May 25, 2008, at the Valley View Senior Life Center in Junction City. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorials be given to the Disabled American Veterans, VA Hospital-Bldg. #25 Rm. 1066, 2200 SWGage Blvd., Topeka, KS 66622.

Mrs. Bennett was born July 27, 1930 in Viernheim Germany to Philip and Eva (Faltermann) Oehlschlaeger. She married SFC (Ret) Geather Bennett May 12, 1959 in Kaiserglautern, Germany. He preceded her in death January 3, 2008.

Annelise had a Civil Service Career for many years at Fort Riley.

Mrs. Bennett is survived by two sisters; Susanna Jackson of Junction City, KS, Maria Mallory of Boston, MA, one brother; Gerhard Oehlschlaeger of Germany, and one niece Ramona Buechler of Germany.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
