Services for Anne "Dolly" M. Covino Newhall,87, of Junction City, KS
will be held at St. Xavier's Catholic Church, Saturday, June 28, 2003 at
10:00 a.m. Father Joseph Rossi,nephew of the family will officiate. Anne died June 24, 2003 at Midland Hospice Care, Topeka, KS. Visitation will be Friday, June 27, 2002, 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Chapel with a 7:30 p.m. Rosary. Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery, Junction City, Kansas. Memorial contibutions may be made In Lieu of flowers,to St. Xavier's Catholic Church, 218 N. Washington, Junction City, Kansas 66441. Anne was born November 11, 1915, at Boston, MA to Eugene and Rachel (Marruzzi) Covino. Anne attended Peabody High School in Peabody, MA,she married Orlando Newhall October 23, 1937 at Peabody, MA; he preceded her in death January 2, 1996. Anne was a housewife, mother, grandma and great-grandma. Anne was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church in Peabody, MA, and St.Xavier's Catholic Church in Junction City, KS.
Survivors: One Daughter: Mary Ann Moore of Junction City, KS; One Brother: Michael and (wife) Tina Rossi of Danvers, MA; Seven Grandchildren; 15 Great-Grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews, and One Sister-in-law; Evangeline Newhall of Peabody,MA. Preceded In Death By: Parents; Husband; One Brother: Sammy, and One Sister: Nancy. Casket bearers: James Moore, Stephen Moore, Greg Hawkins, Michael Throckmorton, Jim Bernal, and David Rossi. Honorary Casket bearers: Jim Moore, Michael Rossi, and Michael Moore.
