Anna M. Schoenrock, 79, of Junction City passed away on Friday, November 9, 2007 at Stormont Vail Regional Medical Center, Topeka, KS. Burial will be held Friday, November 16, 2007 at 2PM at Fort Riley Cemetery. Penwell-Gabel Mass-Hinitt Chapel is assisting with funeral arrangements.
Mrs. Schoenrock was born November 2, 1928 in Aufham, Germany to Sebastian and Amalie Schondorfer. She married Marvin Schoenrock on September 1, 1955 in Salzburg, Austria. He survives of the home. She attended Interpreter School in Austria. Prior to moving to the United States she also worked as a Postal Clerk in Germany. In addition to being a devoted homemaker, mother and grandmother, she also proudly worked for the US Postal Service for 34 years.
She is survived by two sons, Gery Schoenrock and wife, Patti, of Junction City and Marvin Schoenrock, Jr. and wife, Shawna, of Junction City; two grandsons, Anderson Schoenrock of Santa Monica, CA and Kendall Schoenrock of New York City, NY; twin sister, Amalie Binder and three brothers, Goerge Schondorfer, Albert Schondorfer and Johann Schondorfer, all of Aufham, Germany.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and one son, Christian Michael Schoenrock.
Pallbearers will be Anderson Schoenrock and Kendall Schoenrock, grandsons; and Glenn Schoenrock and Tommy Schoenrock, brothers-in-law.
