Anna E. Mccabe

Funeral services for Anna E. McCabe, 84, formerly of Junction City, KS will be 10 a.m., Wednesday , April 5, 2006 at the First Christian Church in Junction City. Burial will follow the services at Corning Cemetery, Corning, Kansas. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 4, 2006, 6-8 p.m. at the First Christian Church. Mrs. McCabe passed away on March 26, 2006 at her daughter's home in Red Bluff, CA. Memorial contributions may be given to the American Lung Association, 4300 Drury Lane, Topeka, KS 66604.

Mrs. McCabe was born October 2, 1921 in Corning, KS to Ed and Mable Wilson. She graduated from Corning High School in 1939 and married Harry E. McCabe October 4 of that same year. He preceded her in death May 21, 1990. Mrs. McCabe retired from Valley View Professional Care Center where she worked as the Supervisor of housekeeping. She was a member of the First Christian Church and the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, Post #45.

She is survived by two daughters, Barbara Wagner of Red Bluff, CA and Shannon Jones of Junction City, KS; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Pallbearers will be Mel Wagner, Edward Jones, Bill Ahlers, Paul Jones, George Ahlers and Tom Goudey.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Rodney Wagner, Christine Wagner, Marlin McCabe, Mack McCabe, Charles McCabe and Harry Christman.

Musician will be Sandi Adams

Penwell-Gabel Mass-Hinitt Chapel is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
