Angela S. "Angie" Simon

Angela S. Simon, 50, of Junction City, Kansas died Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at her home in Junction City, Kansas.

A visitation will take place 10-11 a.m. Friday, April 5, 2024 at Johnson Funeral Home.

A funeral service will follow the visitation at 11 a.m. at Johnson Funeral Home.

Burial will follow the funeral at Highland Cemetery.

Angela was born February 5, 1974, in Seoul, South Korea the daughter of Michael and Sun (Bouska) Diorio.

Angela worked for Footlocker in Junction City for many years. She was a fun, energetic and outgoing person. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Her grandchildren were an important part of her life. She was an excellent student and enjoyed her educational experience. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed cooking for others.

Angela grew up in a military family. She loved her mom with all her heart. She missed her everyday. Her faith was important to her. She attended church on a regular basis.

She is survived by one son, Michael A. Gross of Junction City, Kansas; two daughters, Tiyanna Mason of San Antonio, Texas and Tashayla Gross of Junction City, Kansas; seven grandsons, Christopher, Jeremiah, Elijah, Mason, Kashton, Kameron and Kassius; step-father, Alan Bouska; one brother, Joseph Diorio; two sisters, Crystal Rivera and Gloria Cano and a host of other family and friends.
