Amy E. Roediger

Graveside memorial inurnment services for Amy E. Roediger 99, Junction City, KS will be 10:00am Tuesday, July 17, 2007 at Highland Cemetery with Father Dale Plummer officiating. No visitation is planned. Mrs. Roediger passed away July 6, 2007 at Valley View Professional Care Center. Cremation has taken place. Memorial contributions may be made to the Episcopal Church of the Covenant, or Shriner's Crippled Children's Hospital Fund and sent in care of Penwell-Gabel Mass-Hinitt Chapel, 805 Caroline, Junction City, KS 66441.

Amy was born September 5, 1907 in Haviland, KS the daughter of Frank and Alena Marie (Ruch) Hayes. She had lived in Junction City since 1928and attended Bethany College in Lindsborg for two years majoring in piano and pipe organ. She worked for Civil Service at Fort Riley for 18 1/2 years in Post Supply retiring in 1970.

Amy was a member of the Episcopal Church of the Covenant, Melita Chapter O.E.S. and National Society if Retired Federal Employees.

Amy was married to Carl August Roediger December 31, 1932 in Junction City. He preceded her in death June 1, 1985.

She is survived by her caregivers Larry and Lillian Young, Junction City, KS

Preceded in death by her parents and half-sister Ferne Lucille
