Graveside service for Alice Faye Pfannenstiel, 65, of Junction City will be Tuesday, February 14, 2006, 2:00 p.m. at Highland Cemetery with Pastor Ronnie Roberts officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 14, 2006, 12:00 p.m. until service time at Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel. Ms. Pfannenstiel passed away February 11, 2006 at the Overland Park Regional Medical Center. Memorials may be given to the National Emphysema Foundation, 15 Belden Avenue, Norwalk, CT 06850.
Ms. Pfannenstiel was born April 21, 1940 in Barnwell, S.C., daughter of Vastine and Mattie (Youngblood) Carroll. She was a resident of Junction City for 26 years and worked as a nurse's aide until she retired.
Survivors include her three sons, Horace Still of Madison, WI, Albert Still of Barnwell, S.C., and Danny Still of Rockhill, N.C.; one daughter, Linda Daaboul of Junction City; and seven grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Wilbur and Horace; and four sisters, Betty, Louise, Bertielee, and Georgia.
